(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The National Center for Quranic Sciences of the Shia Endowment, in cooperation with Dar al-Quran Center of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, organized the Elite Women’s Quran Competition for Recitation and Memorization.
Head of the Center’s Talented Unit Amal al-Matoori stated, “The competition was held to select a Quran memorizer and reciter to represent Iraq in international and local Quran ceremonies.”
Twenty-two of the one hundred participants aged 18-35 qualified to the final stage, according to international standards.
